Wild Foods Truffle Hunt 2020 Safety Measures
The health and safety of our guests and employees is our number one priority, and at Wild Foods Italy we are taking precautions that address the current situation in order to make your experience with us safe and enjoyable for you and your family.
Please read below the changes to the format of our Wild Foods Truffle Hunt before booking your experience with us.
Our tours for this year will be offered to family groups making the tour more exclusive and private.
During parts of the Wild Foods Truffle Hunt you will need to wear a mask. This includes:
- When we transfer you to and from the truffle hunting locations in our 4WD vehicles.
- When entering and leaving the dining room for lunch or dinner.
- For any transfers with our drivers to and from our village.
If you don’t bring a mask with you, we will provide one for you.
At all times you will need to keep a safe distance of two (2) meters from Luca and Alessandro, our truffle hunters, and our other guides throughout the tour. To help you observe this, there is plenty of fresh Apennine Mountain air and space around our village and land where you will be enjoying the truffle hunt.
Our pasta making demonstration will be omitted from the day as this is usually conducted in a small room in our historic village. In any case, Francesca and Nonna Giuseppina will prepare traditional fresh pasta for your meal.
We accept bookings for morning and late afternoons from June 25th to the end of the season around mid-December 2020.
